I ran my first 10K today.  I did reasonably well (45:26) but pulled a groin muscle while running.  This is quite painful while climbing stairs or standing on the injured leg (e.g. when putting on pants).  So no running for me for 1-2 weeks (not too bad, given a busy schedule visiting various weddings) - but worse, I'll be applying an ice pack to my groin for the rest of today, on and off every ten minutes.  Heidi's trying not too laugh...
