Running: not quite there yet

We did three one-mile intervals around the south loop of Central Park today, with a short jog back to the starting point in between. My times got linearly worse: 6:24, 6:34, 6:44. I was totally out of energy the on the last half mile of the third run, and finished towards the back of the group - very disappointing.
Since I signed up for a 10K race in four weeks, I had better start working really, really hard on the endurance. Time to start doing 7 to 10 mile runs in the park each weekend. Quite how to combine that with all the moving prep is yet to be determined.
