E. Coli (slight return)
So I recover from a bad bout of food poisoning on Saturday... and today Heidi comes down with the same thing! To make things worse, she has a big mid-term exam tomorrow (Tuesday) with no make-up tests allowed; it's her birthday on Wednesday; and we are (well, were) going on vacation on Thursday. This could not be times any worse.
Heidi may actually drag herself to NYU tomorrow to do the mid-term, but that will hardly go well and endanger the birthday as well as the vacation. Oh dear oh dear - what to do...
Edit: it turned out all right. Heidi took her mid-term fortified by Tylenol, then relapsed for the day; she was slightly improved so she could enjoy her birthday; and the vacation went ahead even though she was still quite fatigued. But thing were close to disaster...
